acanthodoras spinossissimus is the one i have but there are different types they dont grow big!

only grow to 5" maximum and are one of the most peacefull fish i know!

Ok well I now know what it is as I have just bought 2...lol.....its a striped Raphael Catfish....not sure if it will eat the snails, but what the heck, they are fantastic looking and I could not resist getting them!

yes they are the same family as mine but not the same species.

they should eat the snails just the same

an excellent one to have is hunbug catfish it clears my tank within a week!!!!
and they are one of the most peacefull fish ive ever had and dont grow big either!

Well rockurworld you were right, I have a snail free tank and in less than a week...I am well impressed!
