i have 2 clown loach for about 6 months now and one of em has just recently in the last week started digging big holes in the gravel he picks up a bit of gravel at a time and moves it somewhere else.he does it for hours un til he reaches the glass  is he just finding bits of food down there or is there something else goin on?

Just clowns clowning around.

Loaches are awesome fish. Anyways, my cories dig around alot, and it doesn't appear to hurt them too much. Consider it fish excercise, at least they'll be healthy, eh?

My bronze cories blow gravel out of their gills. Such characters...

Just digging for food, mine do it aswell (although not down to the glass), they also make a clicking sound while they do it. Nothing to worry about......how deep is your gravel?

Clowns love sand, but gravel does work for them too. You are just experiencing normal clown behavior

i would love a few blue loach but i have never seen them in any shops :( has any1 got any?
my gravel is about 1& 1/2 inch deep
