How much of his mouth has rotted away.
Can you issolate him and use an antibitic like tetracycline.
Best to use antibiotics in issolation as they wipe the benefical bacteria out in the filter.

It's not sounding to good i'm afraid.

I see you are in the uk. Maracyn products can only buy online I think.
You can only get antibiotics from a vet in this country.

Thanks, yes you're right about maracyn, I've only been able to source it online and no LFS near me sell solely gram-negative bacteria treatment just broad range.

The baby clown passed this afternoon. So that's both my babies gone now. This bigger chap is still fighting but I think it's just a matter of time. The other two adults seem fine at the moment. I was avoiding isolation as I hoped I wouldn't need to stress him out but it seems the best thing for the health of the other 2.

I've just bought and installed an external filter to improve water quality and increase O2 as I'm starting to suspect that my built in over head filter in the AquaONe AR980 isn't powerful enough to support the size of the tank. All my 3 other tanks have been trouble free from day 1 with no illness at all- it's just this one that keeps having unexplained ilnesses and deaths. It's never a complete wipeout of species either, just the odd one or two with random problems but too many to just be "one of those things".

Bless them. R.I.P.

It's best to over filter a tank anyway.
Good luck.
