Levamisole will have to wait until I find a place to buy it. So far this afternoon, all the vets, and animal feed places around me 'never heard of it'. I'm out to the LFS tonight to pick there brains, and I'll ask for the UltraCarePX for now. Thanks for the tip.

A couple of comments: it is broad-spectrum, but it will not help you if your parasite actually reproduces in the tank (like nematodes). Should help with tapeworms. The lfs guy says he feeds his new goldfish/koi it all the time since they often come with tapeworms.
also, he suggested a different way of using the med: rather than eliminate normal food, as the label says, simply soak the usual dry food in it and feed it normally. I don't think the standard way of dropping gel drops into the tank would have worked with my fish anyway, so this is what I'm doing.
