Thought I'd ask if anyone else have "holey" amazon swords which are greedly attacked by their clownies? mine love to have a munch in the morning...im woken by the excited "clicking" lol. Took me ages to catch them at it!!
Seems like many of the botine loaches, and clown loaches, will occasionally punch holes in plants with broad leaves. I've got b. kubotai, b. almorhae, and b. striata and do see some holes in the couple amazon swords in my tank. It is relatively few though considering they've all been in there a year+.
When I researched them I've never really seen reference to it apart from digging up plants, so was quite surprised to see them tucking in, I dont mind as long as they are enjoying their home today is tubifex day so the tank will be in frenzy mode lol
