Right now I'm treating my fish with clout. I heard it is a very powerful medicine and I used it last night. But it doesn't seem to be working. I took out the carbon in the filter. Should I do a water change before I put more of it in?

It's not instant results. Follow the directions on the package. For extreme problems it might even have to be used twice.

On the package that I had it said this product is has ingridients known to cause cancer (In California). I just thought that was a little messed up. I was afraid to get any of that stuff on me.

most meds i use say they cause cancer. i dont worry about it

unless you plan on handling clout every day all day you really don't need to worry about such nonsense.
