so how can i get rid of the cloudy water? its been two days and it has not clear up

We will need some help from you lilgurlgreen.
What color is the cloudiness in your water? Do you know what changed to cause the cloudiness? How long has the tank been set up? Have you used any chemicals in the tank? Have you recently cleaned the filter, planted plants or made other changes? Have you made any changes to your feeding regime?

It's like a white cloudiness. I had only my one baby fish but I recently put in this powder for the ph balance and then bought new fishes and still did my water changes. I did had this moss ball in there but I had put it with my Betta and no changes to the feeding and no other live plants in there.

A few large water changes should get rid of it; it sounds like a bacterial bloom.

Can I ask why you're using the pH balance powder? It's normally better to leave the pH alone.

I an using the powder cuz my ph has been really high and I been changing the water but it never went down.

Yes I am using the API proper ph 7.0. Oh ok.

It was at 7.6 and I needed to bring it down before putting any new fish in

A pH of 7.6 is perfectly fine for nearly all fish; unless they're very delicate or wild caught.

I have platties and before it both platties and mollies and one of them had ice and I didn't know but now I am watching out and but I was told 7.6 was too high for both platties and mollies

No, 7.6 is perfcet for platies and mollies.

PH has nothing to do with fish getting ich, although pH swings (if you try and lower the pH of hard water, it will swing back up to the higher levels quite quickly) can stress fish so that they become vulnerable to diseases like ich and fungus.

Agree.

I was always using it but i have started doing small water changes without it to slowly get my P.H back up to what ever it should be.

Oh ok. Then I will stop using it and just do the water changes with out it

Let us know how you get on :)
