cloudy water

hi i set up new 8 gallon on sunday and all water is cloudy looks like dust from gravel will this clear or do i need to strip down re clean i dont have any fish yet i did wash graver but i dont think i washed it enough.will this harm fish and will filter clear this.

water changes over time will do the trick

its not uncommon on newly set up tanks it should clear up soon.
