Hi, My mom just bought a 15 gallon tank about a week ago, and i cleaned it out for her once already cuz it looked cloudy, but then about 3 days later it started looking cloudy again, i figured it was dust becuz theres alot of dust on her ceiling fan so when she turns it on all the dust falls into the tank, but i wanna know for sure what the problem is  , anyone know? thanx

So the tank is a week old? I take it that it's not been cycled yet and what you are seeing is a bacterial bloom.

Are there any fish in it? What color would you say the cloudiness is?

because it is a young tank it is going through a nitrite and ammonia spike this is normal for a month, then it should drop that cloudiness is the high levels of ammonia it is a new tank it needs to establish a biological filter wich will take about 4-6 weeks you can speed it up with stress zyme a bacteria starter at petco or petsmart. when it is establish these levels should stay at 0 ppm.
