my clown loach has symtoms of cloudy eyes, what disease is this and what action should i take?

Hi and welcome to the forum :) .
Sounds like the clown loach has "Cloudy Eye" which is most commonly an external bacterial infection.
The first thing you need to do is to test the water quality of the tank for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and ph- it would also be very helpful if you can describe us you average tank cleaning regime in detail and how often you do it too :) .

What are the measurements of the tank and/or how many gallons it holds? What sorts of fish do you have in the tank and how many? How long has the tank been set up/running for and what sort of filtration do you have in it :) ?

Right cannot give you a nitrites, nitrites reading because dont have them testing kit, will get it at weekend. But do have ammonia and ph.

Its a Mirabello tank ,it holds 70 liters
I change 20% of water a week, vaccum gravel and clean filters (in tank water i take out) every 3-4 weeks
Been ruinning for 3+ months
3 Clown loach,4 mollys,6 neon tetras and 1 bristle nose catfish

Ammonia - 0
PH - 7.5

It would be better to increase the size of your once weekly water changes a little bit (maybe do 30% once weekly water change instead of 20% water change) and clean the substrate a little more often (like once a fortnight), but other than that my main advice is to treat the clown loach with an anti external bacterial med like Pimafix and increase the airation in the tank during the treatment  .

Are any of the fish displaying symptoms like flicking/rubbing themselves againt objects in the tank or tend to hand around the surface of the water or breathing rapidly at all?

The clown loaches will eventually outgrow the tank, although on average clown loachs tend to only grow slowly at 1inch per 4months, how large are the clown loaches currently and what are the measurements of the tank (length, width, height) :) ?

answer to your 1st Q.I have added a second dose yesterday (after water change) of Interpet slime and velvet No. 7. But has'nt done anything yet.

2nd. I have 1 molly which hangs at the surface all the while started symtoms same time as loach.

3rd. Loach are about 2 inches. Tank is L/24inch H/14 W/12

Its good you are treating the fish with the anti-slime & velvet med, as this will kill off any flukes the fish have (which can cause such symptoms as you described), however it is also probably worth treating the fish with something like Pimafix too (can be used at the same time as meds like the anti slime and velvet one) :) .

It would be best to upgrade the tank to something larger when the clown loaches reach about 5-6inches long, if looked after properly they should grow to 11-14inches+ long  .

Actually which one should i get given the fact the loach with the cloudy eye and molly which is staying at surface.

PimaFix
Treats cotton-like fungal infections, and both internal and external bacterial infections. PimaFix harnesses the unique antifungal and antibacterial properties of the West Indian Bay Tree (Pimenta racemosa) for a safe and natural remedy; prevents the development of resistant strains of disease-causing organisms. Will not discolor water, affect biological filter, or pH during treatment. Will not harm aquatic plants. For extreme cases, PimaFix can safely be used with MelaFix to provide the added benefit of quick tissue regeneration and wound healing. 8 oz treats 400 gallons.

MelaFix
Contains the natural botanical extract from the Tea Tree (Melaleuca, an excellent alternative to resistant strains of bacteria that are unaffected by traditional medications. Treats bacterial infections such as red ulcers, fin and tail rot, cloudy eyes, mouth fungus, and others in as little as 4 days. Also heals open wounds, ulcers, and damaged fins. Doesn't affect pH; safe for invertebrates. 8 oz treats 480 gallons of marine or freshwater. 64 oz is a concentrated formula and treats 19,000 gallons.

Please click on "More Information" for directions for use.

Either could be used really, Melafix is more specifically designed for cloudy eyes but is the weaker of the two meds, although either would work- personally i'd go for melafix.

i went out and got melafix. And put it in (5ml for every 36l so two of them in my case) and it foamed the water up a bit, but it says on the bottle that it will do that.

Got to do that same dose evey day for a week then water change then same dose untill gone. So hope it goes away.
