I'm not too worried about the colour, but thanks for mentioning it. Spot gets quite dark and brilliant during feeding and when he's comfortable, but when he gets nervous (tank cleaning, or when he's out from his 'corner') the colours pale. I think that's what happened for these pictures (along with the flash distorting the colours slightly).

Spot eats frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp usually, and very occasionally some feeder white clouds to make things interesting.

you need to provide a much wider variety of foods for her, try sandeels, whitebait, prawn. Bloodworm etc shouldnt be the main diet for the fish.
