I click on this when I remember even though im in the UK it feels like I'm helping even just the tinniest bit. Maybe you would like to click too, I would like to think I'm helping but does anyone know for sure?

I've clicked and all that and sorry to be a spoil sport! But how do you know it's not a fix - a company making money out of people clicking on sponsers and using an animal shelter to do it??

If it was fake, and this many people were participating, chances are someone would have found out by now, andthe company that did it would be so up to its ass in fraud charges that it wouldn't be worth the risk. And, several of the click to donate sites are organizations that existed long before the clicking. Care2, for example, is a large and well established non-profit that does a "click to ___" sort of thing.

Oh, and if you can't figure out the math... even if you only donate a few cents per day, it ammounts to a decent amount of money when tens of thousands of people do it.

I don't know if they're a scam or not but I do know that the Breast Cancer site (which you will see once you click on the animal one) has been around for well over a year. I used to click it all the time before my computer crashed and I lost the link. As long as it has been around, I would imagine they would have been shut down by now if it was a scam. I imagine it is a legit site but the other side of that is whether it is funded by one of the fringe groups like PETA whose ideas and philosophies I do not support or agree with. If you read the link page though, it has links to different things where you can get more info on them (the Animal Rescue Site, not PETA).

I agree.
I personally think PETA is kinda silly, but hey, We all have our own little things we believe and support, which we can do since we (or atleast I) live in a free country.

What does PETA actually stand for? The only sign I've seen off line on it was "Peta. People Eating Tasty Animals."
