After reading articles in here I have been feeding my silver dollars blanched courgette - they absolutely love the stuff Tonight I was watching them whilst the microwave was on, when it went ping the sd's went beserk, positively manic! are they that clever to know the ping means tea time??
Anyways, back to the q, after their fill there is a large amount of 'fluff' left from food, this clogs the filter and much settles on the gravel. When the sd's get active (and they do) they stir up all the 'bits' and it makes the tank look like a snowscene, none of the fish eat it.
Is there an easy way to clear it up? or a better way of serving their favourite food?
