I’m not sure if this constitutes an emergency, but I don’t know where else to post this.

Have a look at the pictures. The first one I saw was on the surface of the gravel. I found the other three under the gravel after draining the tank and while cleaning it out (fish moved into larger tank) It is jelly all the way through, and completely transparent. They basically disappear once placed in the water.

I thought it may be egg sacks of some sort, but not under the gravel.

Your thoughts?

Maybe some sort of older fertilizer?

Definitely not Cory eggs, which was my first though...

Hmm.. they look like those aqua beads that kids play with. Do you have any kids that might have tossed a few in the tank?

They look like my vitamin E softgel capsules. They dissolve in water. Maybe your kids added them to your tank . Do you have vitamin E in your medicine cabinet?

Yes, but more than 6 months ago. I thought they dissolved. Do they not?
They should, but plenty of people don't have that happen. For some it shrinks. Every now and then someone comes along and they have stayed the same.

But no harm should come, assuming that’s what they actually are...
