Cleaning Of Ocean Rock (Removal Of Algae)

What is the best way to remove algae from Ocean Rock? Anybody had any experience?

Warm water, a scrubbing brush, plenty of elbow

i've tried the scrubbing method but you can never get it all off and it comes back really quick.
what i did is buy some spare rock so you can rotate it, i leave the rock with algae on outside for a week and it's completely clean by then.

You could get it power washed. Apparently that does the trick or leave it outside.

Hi I had a major problem with algae so I hunted about and purchased a sucking loach, within a few days he (I think) had got to work and cleared the lot.

The beauty is that he is left alone by the cichlids, and if he is bothered he can more than look after himself, and frequently chases them back if the others hound him.

It is the ultimate green solution, no chemicals, no stressing the fish by moving the rock about.
