Cleaning My Coral

ok guys & gals! How on earth do i clean my coral sand i got for my Mbuna tank before i put it in? Oh, and jus how do i pronounce Mbuna?

well as far as sand/gravel washing goes, a rubbermaid tub, hose and shortsleeves works for me, I just run the hose until the water runs clear coming from the tub.
Mbuna is pronounced Mboona or (Mboonuh)

Yup.
