Hi.
Was just wondering which is the best way to clean my strip lights?
Would it be ok to use a specific cleaning product or just soap and water?

Best way is to clean them is when it's unplugged/turned off.

If it is coated with white stuff (limescale) then the best way to clean them is with a spot of vinegar.

i have the same problem, the white lime scale. Dubby? that vinegar is a great idea!!!! ill use it in conjunction with the algae pad i have been using, i like this for the glass, works way better and faster + easier than the razor type cheap too under 2$

Its only the smell that you have to watch out for :) I am not sure what effect it can have on the fish so I keep it away from the tank for about 30mins
