Please forgive me if I am asking an obvious question, or if this is covered elsewhere (I have looked - Honest!)
What is the best substance to clean nets / gravel cleaners etc? I have heard of Easy Soak for cleaning nets, but cannot find a supplier in England. Someone suggested that I use ordinary thin bleach, but I am worried that this might poison my precious fish, even if I give the nets a final rinse in Aquasafe.
Also, If I leave my equipment to dry out for a few days after use, will this kill off any dreaded lurgy?

Many thanks

Thin bleach is fine, as long as you rinse thoroughly afterwards.

I just soak in water and scrub, and then rinse again...

I just soak them in boiling water. If you are going to use any cleaning solution I would then soak them in boiling water or poor some boiling water over them, this will kill off any bacteria and should rinse away any cleaning solution.

Thank you both for taking the trouble to reply to my question. I will use plenty of boiling water in future.
