Me...again. :p

OK really pleased with my second hand tank and fish! The only problem is on some parts of the lid and the black sourround at the top there are white crusty marks which are really stubborn! Any ideas on what i should use to clean it off with? If i use a scourer and aquarium water it would take forever...there must be something i can use????

Any ideas anyone??

Cheers :D

They're probably just mineral deposits that have come out of soultion.

If you're tank has fish in it just use hot water, if not some form of cleaning fluid followed by a thorough rinsing to get rid of cleaning residues.

Try using something acidic if all else fails - maybe a vinegar solution?

For glass and plastic covers use a lime away product designed for cleaning tubs and showers. Then flush and rinse very well.
