Cleaned Coral

if youve read my previous post then you now know that i have obtained a piece of coral.
it needed a severe clean so i put it in some warm water with the smallest amount of thin bleach for an hour then scrubbed like hell with an old toothbrush until clean, then i boiled it, again and again and again to get the rest of the crap off and to remove the final bleach.
would it now be ok to add to my tank? i would like it to go into my fry tank if possible but im doing the right thing by asking first. if not its gunna be an ornament in my bathroom.

Because I soak everything that I bleach in dechlorinated water I guess I'm just paranoid like that. I was kind of curious as to why you were putting dead coral into a fw tank. I'm only assuming it's fw though..

fw yep, just for ornamental purposes, very attractive piece. would love marine which is my next project but need to research hard before starting. dead coral costs the earth here, more chance in finding gold nuggets on the beach thats why i grabbed it while i got the chance
how long would you soak it for?

I feel like i clean coral for a living, boil up loads of water to cover the coral and then place the coral in.

Add some thin bleach then wash of with tap water.

U ideally need soidium trisulphate or something like that cant remember the spelling.

Or cover the coral with tap water and add loads of decloinator as that will remove it,
Are u going to put thins in a tank or just for show?

yeah want it to go in tank, thought it would be great for fry to hide in

What fish are u going to have? most are stupid and will scrach their self on it, although African cichlids are usualy ok with it.
