I'm carious on clean up crew in SaltWater Tank. Anyone know of which clean up shrimp or fish for SW Tank? Oh and will a little bit of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate hurt or kill those little bugger? Please help is really appreciated here. Thanks a lot.

Stricktly speaking you should be aiming at 0 ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate anyway. I wouldn't recommend putting inverts in your tank if your still cycling.

As for the crew, Shrimps don't realy do a lot of clean-up you'd be better looking at:

Turbo snails
Hermit crabs (blue or red legged)
Sand sifting starfish
Conch
Gobbie (e.g. blue cheek)
Plus others.

Hope this helps.

Ian

you must NOT pun aqnything in until ammonia and nitrite are zero.

You can also get a brittlestar as a part of the clean up crew. Like sarge said, sand sifting starfish.

You can also get Mexican Turbos, and Bumble Bee snails to eat away at dentrius.

If you get hermit crabs, watch out! Some of them will just pull your snails off of the walls of the tank and eat them! :rip: Make sure that you read about them first. Some hermit crabs don't, though. . . :dunno:

i fyou have sand, nassarius and cerith and nerite snails are a must.
fighting conch, not queen conch, unless tank is huge.
