too bad he skipped out. i was curious to find out what his solution to clean tanks was. i'm guessing hes one of those people who sets up a "natural" system, trying to simulate natural conditions and whatnot. i dont' know all the details, but i've read about set up like these. have to say though, from pics i've seen, they don't LOOK like clean tanks, they do look awfully natural though.........................

Hmmm im getting worried now. I parted with 185 uk pounds on ebay sunday afternoon and have had no response yet. Looks like ill have to get a 6x2x2 from my local lfs now .

don't get so worried shiro I'ved been dealing on ebay for a while now and this is the first scam i'ved fallen into but i wouldn't of bought it if it wasn't for the forum!!

And you always have ebay to fall back on, and they will refund the money, you might want to get onto a non sending seller soon yto make sure your within the given time limits!!

I'm afraid you're wrong there mate, eBay will do precisely the square root of naff all. If you pay via Paypal they will help and if not your credit card company will help if the seller cannot prove delivery, trust me on this I got stung by a scammer, who got what I sent then claimed not to have and I hadn't got a delivery confirmation, cost me a mobile phone and about £60 to find that out.

However Shiro, I wouldn't worry yet 99% of people on eBay are honest, just drop them an email and ask when they are sending the item and how. When selling I sometimes send a note to say when and how I'm posting, though not always.

MAM I doubt he has a natural setup as he claims to use them in his shop, they would be changing stock too regularly to get that to work, it was the scam we all thought it would be.

yer but being a tank that big you would be picking up right? and you can always get there contact info through a quick and simple form on ebay which gives ou address and tel number....of course it's not always right but as long as they have good 100% feedback you have nothing to worry about i have 182 100%

There was 1 case where my dad had to threaten the company with his credit card company to get there asses into gear as it would of shut them down basically but we still had troubles and it's not all resolved now, but i gave up on them.... DONT deal with PC-Rack (www.pc-rack.com)
