ya i figured puttin them with goldfish was bad idea. and ok ill read about acclimatization. im still trying to learn everything. so all the tips and advice is well needed

It was most likely caused by lack of acclimatisation: changes in pH and water hardness can cause shock and death. To prevent this from being an issue, you should drip acclimatise.so my water tested perfectly fine but all 3 of my guppys clamped up and died. so upset about it. im thinking LFS got a bad batch.

That's really great, a 10 gallon is a good size for a few males! Please make sure the filter is completely cycled before you add fish. Even if you seed the filter, I recommend you complete it with adding household ammonia, it will help you understand the process better and you will be able to add most of the stock in one goi got a new tank they were only in a 1.5g which LFS said was fine. but i went and got a 10g and its been up and runnin for a couple of days
