[Discus man]

your forgot discus and angel fish so i didnt vote as my favorite chiclid and favorate fish is the all time discus.
I love them because what they do when food goes onto the floor and they go forward and face downwards to pick it up. I also like the shape and colouration of them there is nothing i cant think of anything bad about discus they are peacfull they are good looking and they do tricks at feeding time!

oh my god how could you forget severums! I've only kept one of the breeds of fish listed so I would have to say firemouths because i've never had any of the others. You also forgot oscars, midas, red devils, jaguars, green terrors, blue acaras, and many more. I know many aquarists who will be disappointed not to see the aggressive cichlids in the poll. Also Kribensis is an african cichlid.

I don't have a particular favorite , but do lean more toward dwarf cichlids .

you just got to love the vivid blue, red and yellow colours you get on a well kept ram, can be just as stunning as discus IMO if kept right

I have to say rmas even though I like my cockatoos. My female comes to the glass when I come to the tank, its so cool.

Wow,how could you forget all times favorites such as discus,angels,oscars,convicts,etc,etc,etc?But anywho,out of that list I gotta say the spectaculars rams.Not only do they have an attitude,they are gorgeous,especially those germans.Gotta go with the ramis.

From the list given, i'd go Firemouth. Wonderful fish with loads of personality.

I would have to say Rams because they are my first cichlids and they spawned last saturday.

I have to say i love rams, but i like cockatoos which i plan to keep soon.
