cichlids

It sill leaves the problem over overly aggressive cichlids in too small a tank, like the Jewel, the Auratus, and the Crabro.

so if i get rid of them aswell, what can i replace them with??? Also i heard it's good to over stock these fish. True? if so how many in a 35gallon.

well electric yellows are mbunas so they would work with others, many people keep them with other african just fine.

But in a 35 gallon, I would go for Tanganyikan cichlids. All the other Rift Lakes get to big.

For Tanganyikan cichlids you could do a number of things, try looking at the cookie cutters here

you will notice that there is only one malawi and victoria selection in the 10-29 gallon links.

It only show a few fish there, is there anymore that i can select from??? electric yellows dont get to big do they?

electric yellows don't get too big,

i might suggest, get four of them and 1 male three female souliosi, or about four more rusty cicglids to make a great ank these fish are less agrisive and should do well in a smaller less sgresive tank with the electric yellows there is information on all three of these fish in the fish index

Edit there are still amny other options i can't think of them right now, you could try pseodotropheus scofoli if you want something more agresive i would expect it to work

You can also do a Yellow Lab - Peacock tank (4 Labs with 4 Aulonocara)

or you cand do a group of Labs and a group of Rusty's.

You can also do a group of Labs, a group of rusty's, and a single male Aulonocara. I had a set-up like this, along with 4 Synodontis Petricola in a 33 gallon, and it worked very nicely.
