Yes there are lots for now to help spread out agression ,i will remove some as they get bigger.i have allot of rock and places for them to hide at night when the lights go out they all disapear its quit funny.

great pics and nice looking fish, thanks for sharing! :good:

always happy to share and help where i can :) i am still learning more everyday to create a great place for all my fish to me happy

stop posting pics! Im starting to wish i had gone down this route with my new tank.....all the rock and new fish would have cost way too much though :< although that said, i did see a load of granite cobble stones for sale locally which could have made an interesting setup

That tank is 720 litres but i have a huge amount of filteration in it and change 50% of the water every week to keep high quaility some would say that i need a bigger tank , but i will take some out as they grow. But then again the best way to help on agression is to have lots of extra fish in the tank plus lots of rock work and places for them to hide.
For the number i have i would not go any smaller than 720 litres and in the future when i move i will upgrade to a 2500 lite tank or bigger i hope ;-)

I can only but dream of having a tank that large (not enough space). It's absolutely beautiful. I have a 40 gallon hexogonal tank. It fits nicely in the corner. I don't have fish that require a long path to swim, so they seem really happy in it. I hope to one day be knowledgable enough for fish beyond the "starter fish" selection :)

If ya dont have dreams they can never come true ;-) so never say never.
I started of with small tanks and then started to grow my addiction :) mind you there are lots of fish that fit nicely in your tank i am a big fan of the dwarf cichlids also

my first tank was a 10 gallon.. as our want for better selection and variety increased, we upraded to 40gallons. we have about 15 adult fish, and we just saved about 10 fry that my female had last night

nice i have lots of fry now from different fish but hard to get pics of as they hide in the rocks.
Yellow labs ,demansonai and egyptian cichlids.

Not to mention they are so tiny that they are hard to focus on if you dont have a really good camera lol

Congrats! I have 10 in a breeder net in the main tain right now that were born yesterday. I unfortunetely had to coop momma up in the net as the other fish kept trying to eat the babies, but after about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, she had 10 in the net, and I think there may be some more hiding in the tank. I am finishing my 10 gallon tank today so that I can remove the fry from the net and allow them to grown in an actual tank, rather than the net, or the tank with hungry fish.
