Cichlid Tank

Here is my cichlid tank. I am not a fan of the fake plant but I needed somewhere for the babies to hide. I am going to see how the two small anubias do and if they survive, I think I will try some large anubias along the back.

hmm reading more about anubias and it seems putting them in the substrate is a bad idea - no wonder I never had success with them before. If I tie them to a rock and piece of wood, how can I anchor them to prevent the cichlids from tossing them around like ragdolls?

I dunno dude but I think your tank looks ace. Soooo want a cichlid set up.

You can attach them very close to the peice of wood or rock and they will eventually root themselves to it.

I've got that plant in my cichlid tank. I used cable ties. Nice tank. Is it a lake mawali set up?

I'll try tying the anubias to rocks. They are in little pots, should I tank them out first?
