Hey everyone, i've been signed up to this site but havn't posted in like a year lol

I have a juwel vision 450 (100 gallons i think), could i keep in it a Jack Dempsey, a Texas Cichlid, a Rainbow Cichlid, a Green Terror and a Red Devil?

Also could any of these go in with them:

A Synodontis, not sure on the species but he's about 6"?
A Red-hump Geophagus, again about 6"?
A couple of Clown Loaches?
Severums?
Pleco?
Fire eel?

Any help or advice greatly apprieciated (sp?)

Thanks

Firstly, a pleco can go with most any fish as long as they are not super super aggressive. So a pleco is a go :good:

450L is actually about 120 USG so you got a good amount of room. You have quite a few large cichlids there and you seem to have been lucky enough to pick some of the most aggressive. I would def say no to having all of these. but you could have something like:

Any combo of those 5 fish except I wouldn't recomend the Jack and GT in the same combo. they are prob the most aggressive towards other cichlids in there. Severums I've heard from some people can be quite nasty too. It's really more of a chance on the personality of the fish. Some are quite laid back while others will attack almost any movement and not leave that fish alone for a sec (thats how my jack is :/ so he has to be by himself).

The geo should be fine with any of these fish for awhile anyways. The more aggressive fish you listed will prob end up harrasing the geo.

I'm not sure about the synodontis, loaches, or the eel.

With the space you have you might be able to have 4 of the 5 you listed (but like i said, i wouldnt do a jack and a gt), but again, just depends on the fish... one day that tank will have no probs, and maybe the next, one of the fish could be harrassing everyone else just cause he feels that he wants to be king of the tank.

Good Luck!

Cheers mate! That was a super quick reply lol

Ok so no Green Terror and Jack Demsey, sounds fair.

Is there anything u would recommend as a possible tank mate, maybe a Jaguar Cichlid?

Jags are just as aggressive if not more aggressive. with NW cichlids it takes luck more often than not find fish that will be fine with eachother. I would say, make your mind up what type of cichlid you can't have you tank without, and then just build around that fish figuring out who is compatible.

OK cool cheers mate, you've been a lot of help!

I'll just see if anyone has any views on the other fish

Thanks again :)
