i am not a big cichlid person but these 3 caught my eye today at work.

i would like to put some smaller africans in with my turtle in his 20 long. can anyone id any of these and would any of them work?

the first 2 are bright orange, even though the pic doesn't show it. they are also about 1.5 inches long.

Try Pseudotropheus Saulosi for the first ones, not sure on the second one though.

Not certain on the first.

But the last fish is a Pseudotropheus socolofi (common name is Powder Blue).

Do a good search on the name and do some reading on the fish. Good luck.

I'm fairly certain that last pic is a male Saulosi, which is reaching sexual maturity and changing colouration. All Saulosi are born yellow and the males turn the vivid 2 tone blue as they mature.

In this picture you can still make out the yellow/orange combined with the blue colours starting to emerge.

#3 is not a pure Socolofi, as it looks to be a Saulosi. Its mouth is not shaped like a Socolofi. Also the tail is not Socolofi like either... Looks like a sub-dominant Saulosi, or a male yet to get its darker blue.
