cichlid algae eater

anno this isnt in the right place but i think it'll get more of a response here

im settin up a tanganyika cichlid tank....its been set up for about 6 weeks now....and startin to grow algae.....what fish can i put in that'll munch it all off the glass???

i read on here that u can use a placidochromis milomo but its a malawi cichlid

any suggestions?

I've been working on a Lake tang set up, and there is a snail (brown and black zig zags) that is very efficient for algea, if you get a pair you could get some of the Tang cats (petricola i think) to keep population down.
