This is some Christmas moss that I've taken out of my tank, I had a large clump of it (as pictured) on top of some wood and managed to tear it loose so decided to start again with a small amount. I started with a portion the size that I'm selling (which I bought for £3.50 in March/April) and it grew to the big clump pictured below in around 2 months (photo is from June), it was HUGE when I took it out earlier today about twice that size at least. Also included pics of the portions and size next to a 10p for scale. One of the photos is of a single frond (someone will be getting this...), really beautiful shapes possible if you give it the time to grow. Let me know if you're interested, payment by paypal will pm details.

I would like 2 portions but I don't any wood in my tank. Does this only grow on wood or can I tie it to anything?

As Willowstwin said, you can grow it on a variety of things, rocks/wood/ornaments or make a moss wall out of it. It will grow as a clump if you just left it on the bottom but if you tie it to something then it grows tiny rhizomes and will 'cling' to things like a vine. I'll PM you paypal details if you want the 2 portions.

I used a little bit of superglue with mine. I tried tieing one lot, but it looked awfull where you could see the cotton (I didn't have anything else). Xmas moss is beautiful though. Those triangular "christmas tree" fronds are just amazing! I'd have some off you but I don't have any room at the moment :(

I used fishing line on mine, brown line so couldn't really see it and after about a month it was invisible as it was covered in new growth. It is a lovely moss, when growing healthily with the triangular shapes it looks amazing. I'll just have to wait now for mine to regrow. What kind of superglue did you use that was safe for the aquarium?

would it be ok to stick the moss to ordinary ornaments using superglue? I've got a few things like a sunken ship and a little barrel.

ill take two portions please. Could you pm me your paypal details please.
