Christmas Day

Not doing that much for xmas this year.
Going over to my aunties on Christmas day for a BBQ, which should be good. Bit different from the normal Christmas at the beach.
We're also expecting a surprise visit from my cousin whose been living in the Cayman Islands for three years (found this out when my other cousin let something slip about needing an extra bed ;) ).

Typical christian stuff, prepare fruit salads, macaroni salads, spaghetti, cake, slice up edam cheese balls hence 'quezo de bola', pre-heat the christmas hams, remove the ice cream and mango sylvanas from the freezer and move it to the fridge then attend mass a few hours before christmas eve. Go home, turn every available christmas lights and music-producing item, play with fireworks outside then wait til dec.25 midnight. Eat, dance and mingle with family members prepare the coal roasted piglet called lechon then drink alcoholic beverage til sunrise :)

And they allow you to do so in Bahrain?

Yeah, Bahrain is pretty much an open country. You can play loud music anytime (except during their prayer times when the mosque goes loud), eat pork (via hal'al chinese stores), go to a couple of catholic churches in the city and some indians even practice their homosexuality (kissing and holding hands only) out in the open. Well at least in public parks and grocery stores lol.
