Cholla Wood

I was considering putting some Cholla wood into my tanks. Has anyone used it? Advice, info, suggestions, cautions, benefits? Any info is appreciated.

If its that kind of wood, someone asked about it last month and ending up trying it. I never heard if it was working long term or not

I have some in a couple of my tanks. Bought it for plecos b/c I read that they love it.
I've never seen any of my plecos chewing on it though.

Yes, that's it, though I think I will be settling on a smaller piece than that
