I saw a couple of these in my one lfs today. One very young (around 1.5" at most) and one approx 2".

What do these normally retail for at that size - I know prices vary greatly country to country and even city to city. But I was a bit surprised to see they were selling at £50 each  (as in I thought that was expensive).

I didn't find that one online but I did find the Chocolate Chip Spiny Pleco (L-160)
(Pseudoacanthicus spinosus) and it was $60 .... And I found that the Zebra Pleco, True (L-46)
(Hypancistrus zebra) is $250.

I've seen chocolate zebras go for about £20, but then Trimar sell phantoms for about the same and yet LFS sells them for £50 so there's a diversity in plec pricing in this country *lol*.

Edited to add: You sometimes find some sellers overprice these hoping someone will think they're Zebra plecs.

Well they did try to convince me it was a true zebra (L046) !! until he checked in the book :X

i used to retail L270's at about £20-£30 18 months ago.
