Somewhere over the rainbow...
I got some chlorine remover. "Tetra Aquasafe". I'm not sure wether to put it in tap water and let it sit for awhile or just put the dosage in the tank with the fish right away. I just put it in right away, and it is a dark blue color. Now, it's just sitting on the gravel. I can see it cause it's a very dark blue. But it's not moving or dissolving. Just sitting on the gravel and turning it blue. Is that supposed to happen? Was what I did right? Thanks! Oh, and by the way, I have a Betta.

Dechlorinators should be added to water before you add it the tank. Try putting your hand in the tank and agitating the water slightly (dont frighten the fish).

I use Aquasafe and have never seen it blue.
I think there's a newer product, AquasafePlus...perhaps this is blue??

Something is very wrong, FlareBettaGuy

It is not supposed to do this. It should also mix readily with the water.

Perhaps the wrong label got on the product during manufacture. Save your receipt, anyway.
