Chipped Tank

yesterday i was cleaning out my tank and chiped a courner,

it is about 1 inch long it is not as deep as the sealent and the crack is at the top of the tank so ive left the water level a centemeter below the crack.

im really worried that the tank will shatter while im out today...........what is the possability of this happening

I'm no expert, but I don't think a chip above the waterline will cause many problems.

I have a second hand tank with a few chip at the corners. It is a 29 galloon tank so it is pretty deep (chips are well below the water level). I haven't had any issues in over a year. Just my experience.

I wouldnt worry, most of my tanks have chips somewhere, my worse has a large chunk out of the bottom edge and the broken glass is held in with sticky tape, tank doesnt lead the tape is there because its sharp.
