I gotta love your reaction on your brownish colored cat. BWT this is off topic but I was wondering if chinchinlas smell....becuase my pre vet teacher wants me to look over the schools chinchila for the upcomming summer. ITs cute. All of your animals are cute. =D

That's the beauty of chins, they have no smell at all. I only have to change the cage every two weeks and that's for my piece of mind, not from smell I'm serious on that too. We have some friends who have ferrets and they say they don't smell because they have been desented, but I beg to differ

Barney also has a plastic house in his cage where he does the majority of his business, so I shake that out everyday too

i agree, they smell horrible descented too, i don't know why anyone would want one as a pet

Thanks Now im deffinatly going to make sure I get to take care of our chincila for this summer! . Our chincila does wall grinds on the cabnets when we let him run on the ground for leg room..errr paw room. It so funny. Ill try to video tape it some how
