Cherry Shrimp

Just thought i would post about some shrimp i have recently bought, i brought a group of 20 from aquarist for £18 which i am really disapointed with they are clear with some brown and only two that show a small amount of red. They have been in the tank now for a week with no change of colour. I have also just purchased 20 more from aquarist which i paid 50p a shrimp with free delivery and have got too say these are some of the best looking cherry shrimp i have seen. I would post pictures but cant find the camera, if anyone is looking for good shrimp check the adverts on aquarist for the chap selling for 50p or drop me a pm and i can give you his email.

The photos are of my selectively bred shrimp which produce this vibrant Red colouration, the offspring of which are for sale. Photos 1,2,3 and 5 show mature females - photo 4 shows 2 adult males. Shrimp for sale are young at approx 1cm and will grow rapidly.

You may want to re-home the "not so red ones", otherwise the next generations will not be as red.

Ordered mine yesterday and they had horrific journey, van delivering them had rta so had a call from local office asking me to go and pick them up. They were quite pale when I first acclimatised them and put them in but have already coloured up well by tonight so all is well and I'm happy.
