Cherry Shrimp Pictures

i have a couple of hundred now and im getting ready to sell shortly , will be sad to see them go but thats what im breeding them for :lol:
 
i am slowly comming round to the idea of a shrimp only tank can i mix and match or am i better keeping just one type
and wheres the best place to get shrimps from

i started out buying mine from ebay, there is a few sellers at the mo.

When i first seen your shrimp tank i was amazed and still am lol, the pics only show about 10% of the amount you have though dont they lol :lol:

Hi Sharon, I love your white sand with red cherries combination. Beautiful :good: Your shrimps are definitely happy enough in there to breed like rabbits :lol:

Have you tried breeding any other dwarf shrimps?

That is not entirely true. Shrimp of the same family such as caridina or neocaridina will interbreed causing a mutant shrimp to be born. DO NOT MIX SHRIMP OF THE SAME FAMILY.

no i just love my cherrys
 
i only got a record 60 so was only thinking of keeping
you know just for somthing differnt i gues it would be better than stopping keeping fish altogether

Still, most shrimp will interbreed with each other if given the choice. Neocaridinas (cherries, yellows, snowballs, dark greens,...etc) are especially fast breeders that will mate with the closest possible candidate.
