That is not entirely true. Shrimp of the same family such as caridina or neocaridina will interbreed causing a mutant shrimp to be born. DO NOT MIX SHRIMP OF THE SAME FAMILY.
Hi Sharon, I love your white sand with red cherries combination. Beautiful Your shrimps are definitely happy enough in there to breed like rabbits
Have you tried breeding any other dwarf shrimps?
Still, most shrimp will interbreed with each other if given the choice. Neocaridinas (cherries, yellows, snowballs, dark greens,...etc) are especially fast breeders that will mate with the closest possible candidate.ok me bad shout.gif blush.gif, but in my defence i was thinking about keeping them together ,,,,,not breeding them.
