Hey guys I am glad to say my cherry shrimp are breeding well and my two plecos keep the tank clean and don't bother the young. But i was looking at maybe getting some other guys in the tank to make it seem a bit more exciting although my cherry shrimp are great and i want them to keep breeding. So i need good tank mates who wont harm any baby cherry shrimp.
I've had a look and I like the look of tiger shrimp because they won't cross breed with my cherrys and vampire shrimp look cool and I've seen them in a local fish store with wood shrimp however will any of these guys eat baby cherrys. Is there any more suggestions.

wood shrimps are quite hard to keep alive as they are not scavengers like cherries, they catch food in fans instead of picking it off things so need a good flow of food directed at them. i had 2 in my tank never saw them until they were dead..... :( they were quite costly too if i remember rightly. cool looking shrimp but they arent very active.....

As mentioned wood shrimp (and other filter shrimp like vampires) are safe to keep with them but require a bit of extra attention.

With my cherry shrimp I keep CRS, wood shrimp, Thai micro crabs, hillstream loaches (need certain conditions, read here: http://www.loaches.com/articles/hillstream-loaches-the-specialists-at-life-in-the-fast-lane ), neon gobies (Stiphodon spp.), whiptail catfish, purple zebra shrimp (Potamalpheops sp.), apple snails, tadpole snails, pond snails and assassin snails.

I would consider them all shrimp safe because they don't eat baby shrimp.

I also have glowlight danios and baby Siamese fighters in there, they eat some baby shrimp, but not enough to make any noticeable difference, they leave adult shrimp alone.

Thanks a lot for the help you two. I'm looking towards tiger shrimp and thai micro crabs. I want something that will breed like my red cherrys will these two do this. If not it there something that will breed in the same conditions apart from fish and snails. Do you know anywhere cheap i could buy tiger shrimp i know bungy on here sells cherrys for £7. Does anyone sell other inverts for similar prices.
