We have amazing technology here in Blighty, called Toasty Makers or, more formally, Toasted Sandwich Makers.
These amazing devices place a sandwich between two hot plates, which press the edges of the sarnie together, sealing the goodness within...er...within.
One with a cheese filling is called....wait for it...a Cheese Toastie.

Personally, I've made these for myself for decades, sans machine.
Tasty snacks.

I think we have something like that where i am too, we call them panini makers. Ive never made a panini nor do i have a panini machine but im sure a waffle iron works just as well for psychopaths.
