ok so i would like to know rough estimates on
from birth to saddled
from saddled to berried
from berried to hatched shimplets

i ask coz i brought soem srhimp around a week ago all tiny maybe 5mm now i have one thats like 2cm and has a distinctive saddle.
do the females grow lots faster than the males. as all the whitish ones are still 5mm and the redder ones are all growing faster.
i was thinking about putting some kind of pipe with fish flakes in and then sink it, so i can make sure they get food.
this is while i wait for my real shrimp food to come. what u think?

They mature between 2 to 3 months. Not sure how young they start showing saddles. Never really timed them  Liam's written a very good species profile for it. Have a read:

Females will seem to grow faster because they are larger in size than the males when fully grown. You can crush some fish flakes and stir into the tank to disperse it so the shrimps can pick up from the substrate.
