Hi Members:

Do any of you have a good link or resource giving the quick and dirty about individual coral/invert species? ie what species do well with eachother, necessary parameter requirements, nutrient requirements, etc.

P.S. Bought a pom pom online and heard that they dont do well with certain corals. I have star polyps, zoos, frogspawn, sun coral.

Is this a true statement with pom poms?

Best thing to do...IMO..is to start with the basics and learn. Try Aquarium Corals by Borneman. The question really is a very broad one. Are you talking coral-coral compatibility? coral-invert compatibility? (corals are inverts too). SH

Yeah I realize the question is broad. My question had more to do with coral compatibility and these "coral wars" thats been used before. I just want to be careful about not mixing corals which dont get along/

Various softies will secrete terpeniods against LPS corals. One of the better described ones is Devil's Hand. Those with stingers need wide berthing. SH
