If you live in london or near, i got an old one you can have :) i think it's a 6 watt tube..

thats good of u ... but old bulbs dont work as well .. u need to replace them every few years ... how old is it ?? if i can ask ??
you have to reknew bulbs every season to get its full power just to let you know

hey thanks for the offer, but i live in Cornwall so London is a bit too far away!!
thanks anyway :good:

UV bulbs are useless after 6 months running time. If you change at the beginning of the season you can sually get away with out changing again in the same year as by tthe time the bulb runs out the winter will be coming along and green water won't be a problem.

If it's a filter and UV you can get Hozelock EcoPowers from £59.99 or if it's just a UV the Hozelock vortons start at £39.99.

Watch out for no name makes which use funny size bulbs which will be impossibe to get hold of or very expensive to replace. Also beware of makes which use odd size PLS bulbs, fish mate use 13W bulbs which are quite hard to get hold of.

For that size pond your looking at 4, 6 or 8W standard flourescent type UV bulb or a 5W PLS bulb. These are all common sizes which any UV stockist would have.
