Am I correct in thinking that a 2kg FE should last approx 4 times as long as a 500g refillable cylinder or is it not that simple?

I'd assume so, not taking into account potential leaks with a "custom" setup and stuff

Does this come with a needle valve? My german is a little shoddy (ie, I did french, spanish and gujarati at school )

Yes Its built in. My FE arrived yesterday but only back in the office today to get it, will hook it up this eve.

That's the theory anyway. 4x refills for a 5000g cylinder would be 50-60quid! The savings are single to see.
