Chat Room Meeting

OK...I check the chat room at least twice a day to see if anyone is actually in there having a convo about fish or reefs or whatever and there is always no-one but kids that are using the room and know less than me...and that is not saying much!!!!

So here is my idea! Lets all meet in the chat room for open discussion on various topics of reef keeping once a week. Now seeing as a lot of us are in America, England, and other parts of Europe we can split the days.

Saturday chat time will be at 8:00pm London time (3:00pm EST (Philidelphia, USA)).

Sunday chat time will be at 8:00pm EST USA (3:00am London time).

It would be really nice to actually chat with some of you in real time about reef keeping and other marine related topics. Come on! Lets see if this works! What can it hurt! A bunch of people with a common hobby sharing, helping, and bragging about what they love.

Ok what I would do mate is try not to offend people alot of us use the chat room and have alot more knowledge about fish keeping than you do mate. And were not kids so I would have a re-think before you post comments like that.

I must appologize for offending you with a simple slip up of words. They were not "kids" they were "young men".

Second, they acutually did not know anything at all. They were just using the room. I know this becuase I talked to them for a while. There has only been one person that I have come across in there that knew anything about fish keeping and was willing to talk about it.

And you are correct in saying that most of you know more then me when it comes to keeping marine aquariums!

OK..apologies are all accepted. We once tried to start a weekly live chat on marine keeping and it never got off the ground. Hope it works. If I am around at 3PM on Sats, I'll try and peak in. SH
