Chasing During Feeding Time

my male firemouth is always chasing the smaller female firemouth all across the 10-gallon tank when i feed them.

is this normal behavior? will the female get hurt?

Windtrancer, you should google the minimum tank requirements for firemouths. They are territorial, apparently, and need alot of space to mark it out as *theirs*. Might not solve the problem though, they might just not like eachother
