Very nice Jamie . Congrats on the fry.
Lyraguppi: they are very rare and possibly extinct in the wild

Lyraguppi: They are in the family of Goodeid or Goodeidae. There 40 or more species in the family with several different genus types(characodon is one genus). Majority of the family is threatened with only a few species that are secure in the wild. One specie is extinct. For some species there are different locations with different genes that should be kept in specie/location only tanks and shouldn't be mixed with other Goodeid species or same specie from different locations.
They are great fish and fun to keep. It feels great to help preserve these fish and share them with others.

My camera phone's not the greatest closer up pic of the fry .

A minimum tank size of 2 foot long Do well between 68f-74f. ph 7+)a weakly water change of 40 to 50% . feed a good variety of foods also some live food should be added to their diet.

Interesting characodons. Is that a new location for them? Most characodons I have seen have far more intense colors. C. lateralis is the most common of the characodons and one that I own but C.audax are also fairly commonly seen. Lately the scientific community has been taking the position that each location should just list the fish as characodon species with the location listed because there is little genetic difference between the various ones identified in the hobby. Tracking location allows the fish to be sorted later if a true difference is found.
