how big do they grow? I only ask as I thought all snake heads were massive apart from Bleheri and this I've seen described as dwarf snakehead?

we think about 10" max, but mine are quite juvenile at the moment range from 4-6". not all are huge most are of reasonable size, remembering i have 21 Snakeheads, and the biggest the Channa Ornatipinnis will probably only get to 12" max.

Pulchra seem to be cave breeders as the most recent breeding of them were in caves.....

I have seen the threads on other forums with regards to their breeding, however mine seem completely disinterested in caves, they prefer the plants to hide/roam around in. I shall be interested if this changes as they get older.

Getting 1 is easy, getting a matched pair is somewhat harder atm

Im with you on the "difficult to find a matched pair" thing.

Generally you have to get a large number in a large tank and then see which ones, if any, pair off.
