Channa-ornatipinnis Have Laid Eggs..drawf Snakeheads

well atleast the newer ones will have plenty of cover from the older ones, still can't believe how much they've grown in so little time

more eggs haha. you must be doing something right then. just leave all the duckweed in for cover for the new hatchlings they should be ok. no wonder your old batch are growing so quick all that nutricious food your giving them haha. you should make a lot of pennys out of this if it stays like this and all the fry survive. good luck

sorry havent got any from this time as theres sooo much duck weed and floating plants i canny get any pics, and do not want to disturb them, got new pics of fry will post tommorow

wow they have grown fast, am i right in thinking there are more eggs? would be awesome if there is.
Now if there is god knows what the first lot of fry are gunna do to the new fry, dread to think but its an experiment to see what happens I suppose.

well the eggs that i can see are still fine, eggs wriggling round with tails,,,,,My channa breeding exspert says they should be fine, as these fish are very similar looking to pulchra and everything ive described his pulchra breeding pair do to the exsact point, he has four different broods in the tank together, the older fry actually care for the new batch so ive been told, as the guys eat at the suface and the eggs also float at the suface in ammonst there food they are not touching the eggs, 1 did the first day but i think that was more inquizative than anything :shifty:

[ihere you can see some eggs floating in the weed
